The point of the D League is to help players get to the NBA. Take a look at my last post where I made the case for Dontell Jefferson as an All Star. Well, it seems that Larry Brown must have taken my post to heart. Thanks for reading Larry. Last week the Bobcats signed Dontell Jefferson to his first 10 day contract. Congratulations to DJ. His story is a real credit to the league and a kid's determination. This is a guy who has played in the D League for three years hoping to get his chance. Now he has it. He is the first Flash player ever signed by an NBA team-I couldn't be happier for him.
