A reporter who was at the Flash game the other night came up to me after we put a beating on Anaheim and said that he was certain we would beat any NCAA tournament team and that he was pretty sure we would give the SAC Kings a run.
While I am not sure about the Kings, given the way we have been playing lately I would like our odds in the NCAA. The game in the D League is so much more physical than the NCAA. I think we had at least 5 plays that would have made ESPN top 10. JR Giddens had 5 blocks-two of which ended up in the seventh row, and Kevin Kruger had an assist on a fast break off the backboard to a R. Dupree dunk. I haven't seen that since ESPN was airing the AND1 mix tour.
Winning is so much more fun than losing-nothing surprising about that right?
