We are getting ready for several major team announcements. These will include the following: Team Name, General Manager, and a Coach to name a few. One of the announcements I am most excited about that will occur in three days is that we are planning to build an arena in Lehi, Utah that will become the permanent home for the team.
Even more substantial than the announcement that we are building an arena is the fact that world famous architect Frank Gehry will design the arena and surrounding community.
In my next blog I will focus on how to hire good people and will elaborate on how that relates to the team. But I wanted to get this announcement out three days early for anyone watching.
Although I do not know how the city and community will receive this or how the media will cover it, I do know we are in the process of creating one of the greatest venues in minor league sports.

I have to say that I'm extremely excited for the new arena, especially after reading about it in the Trib. I grew up in Lehi, and seeing something like this in my hometown definitely brings a smile to my face.
